‘The Fall Of Tyre And Sidon.
Isaiah 23:1-5.
a)
Isaiah 23:1. It was a
season of sadness because the important city and port of Tyre had been devastated
and laid waste.
b)
Isaiah 23:2. It was time
for the merchants of Sidon to be quiet because there was no trading any more.
c)
Isaiah 23:3. For Tyre and
Sidon international trade and income had ceased.
d)
Isaiah 23:4. Sidon had
become still and quiet.
e)
Isaiah 23:5. Egypt was
going to be I much pain because Tyre was an important City for their trading.

The merchants of Sidon
could do nothing because the Lord’s intervention. There was no trading any
more. As we look around the ports of the World, both seaports and airports, in
many cases, but not all, we can see the Lord’s intervention. Things can be
changed if God’s people turn to Him, seek Him and Pray to Him.
