‘Weather Should Not
Dominate Us.’
Ecclesiastes 11:3-4.
a)
If the
clouds are full of rain then they will send it down on the Earth.
b)
Wherever
a tree falls, that is where it will stay. (Meaning a tree that falls naturally
for some reason)
c)
The
person who watches the wind will never get their seed planted.
d)
The
person who keeps looking at the clouds will never gather the grain.
(This QT reminds me that Weather Should Not
Dominate Me, even though I enjoy watching the Weather, especially here in
Aberdeen, it is exciting!)
‘The Angel Of The Lord
Went Up.’
Judges 13:19-20.
a)
Manoah
took the young goat and the grain offering.
b)
He
offered it on the rock to the Lord Who does amazing things.
c)
As the
flame went up towards the sky.
d)
The Angel
of the Lord went up in the flame.
e)
Manoah
and his wife were looking on.
f)
As this
happened they fell face down to the ground in awe.
(Through
this Second one I am amazed at how The Angel Of The Lord Went Up in the fire)
Chris.
God creates our
daily weather. Some of us may live in desert areas where the weather never
changes much, hot days and cooler nights. Some of us may live in the tropics
where humidity prevails day and night. Some of us may lives in countries that
have the four seasons clearly and we are never sure how the weather is going to
be tomorrow. There are so many different and wonderful weather environments
created by God on this Earth. The weather should not dominate us but rather
lead us closer in Worship to God Who has Created it.
