‘Pure People Or Defiled People.’
Titus 1:15-16.
a) To the pure people all
things are pure. They are:-
1-
Humble.
2-
Simple.
3-
Pure.
b) To the people that are:-
1-
Defiled.
2-
Unbelieving.
3-
Without trust.
c) Nothing is pure to these
people.
d) These defiled people:-
1-
Have defiled
minds.
2-
Have defiled
consciences.
3-
Profess to know
God but deny Him by their works.
4-
Are detestable.
5-
Are disobedient.
6-
Are unfit for any
good work.
(Through this QT I discover a simple definition
of Pure People Or Defiled People)
‘Practical Teaching.’
Titus 2:1.
a) The Minister needs to
Teach the Word of God well.
b) The Minister needs to
explain the Word of God well.
c) The Minister needs to
Teach sound Doctrine.
d) The Minister needs to
Teach how True Believers should behave.
(Through this Second one I desire to see and
hear more Practical Teaching in the Church)
Chris.
There are some people in the Churches who are without Trust,
these people trust nothing or no one and are actually very difficult to know or
to help. Usually their talking both inside and outside the Church is critical
and negative. It is possible to lay out a whole host of reasons why people are
without Trust but it usually all comes back to that word sin.
