‘A Real Spiritual
Father.’
3 John 1:4.
a)
Can have Joy in his spiritual children. (Not
just be their teacher)
b)
My children – he clearly and openly
identifies them with himself.
c)
Helps his children to walk in the Truth.
(This QT reveals to me
A Real Spiritual Father)
‘A Pure And Vital
Relationship With God.’
Philippians 3:7-11.
a)
Philippians 3:7. The things which were gain
and profit for Apostle Paul he gave up for Christ.
b)
Philippians 3:8. Truly Paul was ready to count
all things as loss, give them up, for the Knowledge of Christ Jesus his Lord.
c)
Philippians 3:8. Paul underwent the loss of
all things for Christ and after that loss he counted them as nothing so that he
may have Christ as his reward.
d)
Philippians 3:9. Apostle Paul wanted to be
seen in Christ, not having his own righteousness which is from the Law but
rather that Righteousness which is through Faith in Christ. This Righteousness
is of God by Faith.
e)
Philippians 3:10-11. Apostle Paul wanted:-
1-
To know Christ.
2-
To know the Power of
Christ’s Resurrection.
3-
To know the Fellowship
of Christ’s sufferings.
4-
To become like Christ
in His Death.
5-
To attain the
Resurrection of the dead.
(This Second one amazes me: A Pure And Vital
Relationship With God because through Apostle Paul we can find what every True
Believer Minister’s priorities should
be)
Chris.
There were many things that were formerly gain and
profit for Apostle Paul. Before he became a True Believer he boasted in those
things. His knowing Jesus really changed all that. Paul’s prior life and experience he counted as nothing
that he may follow Christ. His priorities became totally different. It was not
people first or ministry first, it was Christ first. A great lesson for us to
learn!
