'Christ, Who Is Our Life.'
a) Colossians 3:1. We are risen with Christ.
b) Colossians 3:3. Our life is hidden with Christ in God.
c) Colossians 3:4. Christ is our life, and in the future,
we shall appear with Him.
d) Philippians 3:10. We desire to know Him.
e) Colossians 1:27. Christ in us, the Hope of Glory.
f) 1 Corinthians 1:9; 1 John 1:3. We are called into
fellowship with God's Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
g) 2 Corinthians 13:14. The Grace of the Lord Jesus
Christ be with us.

'The Church.'
a) Acts 7;38. God's People with Moses in the desert were
His Church.
b) Romans 12:5. Is one Body in Christ.
c) 1 Corinthians 12:27. One Body with individual members.
d) Ephesians 1:23. Is Christ's Body, which He intends to
fill all things.
e) Ephesians 4:12. Is a Body that needs to be edified.
f) Colossians 2:19. Is a Body that needs to be nourished
and knit together.
g) Matthew 16:18. Is Built by the Lord.
h) 1 Corinthians 3:10. Needs to be planted wisely and
carefully.
i) Ephesians 2:21. Is a building, being joined together,
growing into a Holy Temple in the Lord.
j) 1 Peter 2:5. Is a place that is:-
i) Of living stones - not dead wood!
ii) Being built up as a spiritual house - not a racial
community centre; language must be the basis of our gathering together, not
race.
iii) Of Holy People offering up spiritual sacrifices
acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
k) Acts 15:6. Needs Apostolic and Resident Leadership.
l) Acts 15:28. Needs Holy Spirit direction from the
Leadership.
m) 1 Corinthians 7:17. Should have its members to be free
to live in God's Gifting and Calling for their lives.
n) 1 Timothy 3:5. Needs to be taken care of by good
family men.
o) Acts 2:47. Can be added to daily by the Lord.
p) Acts 6:7. Members were called disciples. Discipleship
is God's Will for every Church.
q) Acts 9:31. Multiplied because of:-
i) Peace.
ii) Edification.
iii) Living in the Fear of the Lord.
iv) The Comfort of the Holy Spirit.
r) Acts 16:4. Had universal decrees to keep that were:-
i) Multi ethnic.
ii) Cross cultural.
iii) Multi lingual.
iv) Unhindered by culture.
s) Hebrews 13:17. Members should obey Biblical Church
Leadership and be submissive.
t) 1 Timothy 3:15. Is the pillar and ground - foundation
of the Truth.
(Through this meditation, I understand more about the Church)

I have a personal dislike for the word "Christian";
its definition is too vague. It is also a word that can create animosity
between followers of other religions and followers of Jesus. The Early Church
used such terms as the people of the way, the believers, the disciples or the
brothers and sisters at.... This has far more reality and understanding for
everyone than the term "Christian". My own definition is True
Believer; I really like those words. The term Disciple is also good. Every True
Believer in Jesus should be a Disciple. Every Church needs some kind of
Discipleship Training {not evangelism, healing, counselling, or leadership
training}, but Discipleship Training - how to be a good Disciple of Jesus
Christ. If we are going to see the Restoration of Biblical Church standards,
then we need to follow Biblical Church principles.
