'Covenant Keeping God.'

a) Nehemiah 9:32. God keeps His Covenant and stedfast love. Only personal communion with God will provide the Way for us to know Him.

b) Berith - the Hebrew Word for Covenant means an act of cutting or dividing in a sacrificial or ceremonial sense to establish an agreement.

c) Diathake - the Greek Word for Covenant means a disposition of property and is also translated "testament".

d) There are three essential parts of Covenant:-

1-Jeremiah 31:1. Two parties - God and people.

2-Acts 2:38. Declaration of Promises and Conditions.

3-Hebrews 10:16-17. Promises guaranteed.

e) Both the Old and New Covenants are initiated by God in order to establish relationship with people.

f) Genesis 17:8-14. God's desire to have a relationship with His People. Then circumcision in order to establish the Covenant.

g) Exodus 19:5. In order to be God's special possession among all peoples, God's people needed to obey His Voice and keep His Covenant.

h) Isaiah 59:21. The indwelling Holy Spirit is a part of God's Covenant.

i) Jeremiah 31:33; Ezekiel 34:30. God's Word in the hearts of people and then a way to relationship with Him. This is the Covenant He made with His People.

j) Genesis 15:9-10. The original Covenant between God and Abram.

k) Exodus 24:8; Hebrews 9:18-22. The Covenant through Moses.

l) Matthew 26:27-28; 1 Corinthians 11:25-26; Colossians 2:11-14. The Covenant made through Jesus Christ.

m) Romans 5:1. The Covenant made through Jesus Christ brings us to a place of Peace with God.

n) Deuteronomy 10:16; 30:6; Romans 2:29. The Covenant affects our inner man.

There is such Blessing for the True Believer because every True Believer has the indwelling Holy Spirit. To have assurance of the Holy Spirit in our lives helps us tremendously. He, the Holy Spirit, helps us to pray, He strengthens us in our inner man, He reminds us of the Words of Jesus Christ, He gives us Spiritual fruit to share with other people and He anoints us to serve in the Will of God. Let us value the Presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
