‘The Correct Time To Remember.’
Ecclesiastes 12:1.
a) We should remember our
Creator in the days of our youth.
b) Youth days are the days
before the evil days come.
c) Youth days are the days
that come before the years draw near in which we say that we have no pleasure in
them.
(This QT
emphasises The Correct Time To Remember our Creator)
‘Ministers Need To
Remember God’s Covenant.’
Malachi 2:1-8.
a) Malachi 2:1. A Command
that God gave and still gives to His Ministers.
b) Malachi 2:2. Listen and
take it into our hearts that the Lord wants us, all Ministers, to give Glory to
His Name.
c) Malachi 2:2. If we do not
take these things to heart all kinds of things may go wrong in our lives, God
calls it a curse.
d) Malachi 2:3. There will
be so much shame for Ministers who reject God’s Word.
e) Malachi 2:4. The Covenant
and Command of God still stands for His Ministers.
f) Malachi 2:5. God’s Covenant that He makes with His Ministers is:-
1- Life.
2- Peace.
3- Fear of the Lord.
g) Malachi 2:6. The Minister
of God should:-
1- Give True Instruction.
2- Take it into their heart to give Honour and Glory to the Lord’s Name.
3- Walk with the Lord in Peace.
4- Walk with the Lord in Uprightness.
5- Turn people from their iniquities. (Beginning with God’s People)
h) Malachi 2:7. When the
Minister of God speaks:-
1- He should speak True Knowledge. (Guarded Knowledge from God)
2- Instruction.
3- Speak as the Messenger of the Lord of Hosts.
i) Malachi 2:8. The Minister
of the Lord should not:-
1- Turn aside from the Holy Path.
2- Cause people to stumble because of the Instructions they give.
3- Corrupt the Holy Word of God.
(This Second one is clear reminder to me that
Ministers Need To Remember God’s Covenant)
Chris.
The Minister of the Lord should speak True
Knowledge. The Word of God is all sufficient for giving us Truth and Life. When
the Minister of the Lord turns away from the Word of God in an attempt to
entertain the people or make money from the people they disqualify their
ministry.
