Friends are important.
If we are True Believers then we will Pray for our friends. In the Church too
many potential friendships are broken through gossip and manipulation. The Bible
tells us that if we want to have friends we should be friendly. Friendliness
includes welcome and gentleness. Friendliness includes a listening ear more
than a talking mouth. Friends do not preach at their friends, they enjoy the
friendship, empathise and sympathise.
