Luke 4:16.

a)  He came to Nazareth, where He was brought up.

b)  He had a custom.

c)  His custom was to go to the Synagogue on the Sabbath Day.

d)  His custom was to stand up and give a reading. (Of the Scripture)

‘Ministers Must Teach God’s Word.’

Hosea 4:6.

a)  God’s People were being overtaken by destruction because they had no Knowledge.

b)  God’s People rejected Knowledge.

c)  God rejected the Ministers of and for God’s People.

d)  The Ministers had forgotten about God’s Laws and Principles.

e)  The Children of the Ministers would be forgotten by God.

(This Second one clearly shows me that Ministers Must Teach God’s Word)

We need to learn, not only from the Words of Jesus but also we need to learn from His customs. The Life of Jesus and His Ministry was varied and wonderful and yet He had certain religious customs which He meticulously kept. Here is a great example for us.
