Honour!



Honour.
a)   Hebrews 2:9. Is given to Jesus by the Father.
b)    Exodus 20:12; Deuteronomy 5:16. Should be given to our parents.
c)   Deuteronomy 16:1. Passover was celebrated to Honour the Lord.
d)   Deuteronomy 16:8; Isaiah 56:2. Holy Days were held in Honour of the Lord and no work could be done on those days.
e)   Deuteronomy 26:19. God may cause His People to be Honoured.
f)   Judges 9:16; Romans 16:2. People who accomplish good deserve Honour.
g)    Judges 13:17. Manoah wanted to Honour the Angel of the Lord.
h)   1 Samuel 9:6. True men of God will be held in high Honour.
i)    1 Samuel 21:11. People may be Honoured by the dancing and singing of other people.
j)    Psalm 86:11. We can Honour the Lord when we have a pure heart.
k)   Psalm 104:1. The Lord our God is robed with Honour.
l)     Psalm 106:8. The Lord Saves us to defend the Honour of His Name.
m)  Psalm 119:48. We should Honour the Lords Commands.
n)   Proverbs 3:9. We should Honour the Lord with our Wealth and Substance.
o)   Proverbs 15:33; 18:12; 22:4. Humility precedes Honour.
p)    Ecclesiastes 12:1. Honour our Creator in our youth.
q)    Isaiah 55:13. Certain events may bring great Honour to the Lords Name.
r)   Malachi 1:6. The Lord deserves Honour.
s)    Malachi 2:2. We need to listen to the Lord and make up our mind to Honour the Lord.
t)   Malachi 3:16. We need always to think about the Honour of the Lords Name.
u)   Mark 16:19; Acts 2:33; 7:55. Jesus Christ is now sat down at the Place of Honour at Gods Right Hand.
v)   1 Corinthians 6:20; Colossians 1:10. We are to Honour God with our body.
w)  1 Thessalonians 5:12. Honour our Leaders in the Lords Work.

Joshua 2:9-11.
a)   Joshua 2:9. He gives to whom He gives and this causes those people who are not given to become terrified.
b)    Joshua 2:10. He does miracles for His People.
c)   Joshua 2:11. He causes non believers to lose their courage.
d)   Joshua 2:11. He is omnipresent.
(This Second one reveals the circumstances when God Is Truly Present)

We are to Honour God. This statement should cause us to both Pray and Think. We Pray about and Think about the ways in which we can Honour God. After Praying and Thinking about this then we should get on with it.
