‘Threatening Speech.’
Isaiah 36:11-12.
a)
Hezekiah’s men:-
1- Eliakim.
2- Shebna.
3- Joah.
b)
They spoke to the Rabshekah and asked him to
speak in Aramaic and not Jewish, because all the army of Hezekiah could understand
the threatening Jewish language that the Rabshekah was using,
c)
The Rabshekah refused, saying that he was sent
by the King of Assyria to attack all of the Jewish people.
(This QT teaches me about the
negative power of Threatening Speech)
‘Hallelujah! We Are Washed.’
1 Corinthians 6:11.
a) We used to be dirty in
sin.
b) But we have been washed
clean and made Holy to God.
c) We have received God’s
Approval in the Name of our Lord Jesus Christ and in the Holy Spirit.
d) So we are now:-
1- Clean.
2- Holy.
3- Right with God.
(This Second one causes me to
exclaim: Hallelujah! I Am Washed!)
Chris.
Clean is a very lovely word. It
simply means that. If we make something clean it is a very satisfying
experience. We can see the difference. It is the same with our lives, when we
are clean the difference can be seen. One of the goals of that God for us that
we can read of in the Scriptures is that we might be clean.
