‘Harmful Gatherings.’
1 Corinthians 11:17.
a) Apostle Paul did not
praise the Corinthian Church at the time of writing this letter.
b) Paul was still
instructing the Corinthian Church in matters of Discipleship.
c) When the Corinthians were
gathering together the result was more harm than good, it was not for the
better, rather it was for the worse.
(Because of this QT I want to
avoid Harmful Gatherings)
‘We Should Not Forget The Lord.’
Deuteronomy 6:10-12.
a) Deuteronomy 6:10. The
Lord was bringing His People into the Land that He had promised them.
b) Deuteronomy 6:11. Everything
was provided for them, there was generous provision from the Lord.
c) Deuteronomy 6:12. When
God’s People were enjoying this Wonderful Provision they were not to forget
Him, their Heavenly Father, the Lord their God.
(A simple Message for me in this
Second one: We Should Not Forget The Lord)
Chris.
We should not forget the Lord.
This is a statement that every True Believer should think unnecessary. The
reality is that it is sometimes for all of us. We get caught up with “things”
that we miss the Lord. It is possible to be so active and good in Church works
and yet forget the Lord, we may get so caught up in ministry that we forget the
Lord. Let’s not forget Him.
