‘Do Not Listen To
The World System.’
Isaiah 36:5.
a)
The Rabshekah is a type of the World system.
b)
He said
to God’s People that they were claiming they had Counsel and Might for war.
c)
He said that these were just empty words.
d)
His anger came out – questioning Who were they
depending on.
e)
The Rabshekah accused God’s People of
rebelling against him.
(This QT
urges me: Do Not Listen To The World System)
------------
‘Complacently
Pleased With Themselves.’
Luke
18:9-12.
a) Luke 18:9. Some
people are too confident of their own “righteousness”.
b) Luke 18:9; 16:15. They look down on everyone else.
c) Luke 18:9. Jesus
tells a parable to them.
d) Luke 18.10.
Two men went up to the Temple to Pray, a Pharisee and a tax collector.
e) Luke 18:11-12;
Matthew 6:5. His complacent attitude of prideful “prayer”:-
1- He stood by himself. (Not in fellowship with others
and wanting to be noticed.
2- Isaiah 65:5. God I thank you that I am not like other
people.
3- They are robbers, evildoers, adulterers and tax
collectors.
4- Luke 11:42. I fast twice a week and I give a tenth of
all I get.
(This Second calls me to avoid Fellowship with people who are Complacently Pleased With Themselves)

Chris.
The Rabshekah accused God's People of rebelling against him. There are times that people who are of the World system want to make the lives of True Believers very uncomfortable. They sometimes tell lies and make false accusations and can cause much pain. The Bible tells us that we can overcome the accuser. It is the only way!
