Isaiah 37:21. The Lord
heard Hezekiah’s Prayer.
b)Isaiah 37:22. The Lord’s
People were to tell Sennacherib:-
1-
The Lord’s People in Zion despise you.
2-
The Lord’s People in Zion laugh at you.
3-
The Lord’s People in Jerusalem shake their heads behind your
back.
c)
Isaiah 37:23. The Holy
One of Israel, by Sennacherib, had:-
1-
Been defying.
2-
Been slandering.
3-
Been shouting against.
4-
Been arrogantly behaving towards.
d) Isaiah 37:24-27. The
terror that Sennacherib and his men were causing God’s People.

Isaiah 37:28-29. God knew
everything about Sennacherib and his men:-
1-
Their movements.
2-
Their rage.
3-
Their pride.
f)
Isaiah 37:29. To
Sennacherib God was going to take radical action:-
1-A hook through his
nose.
2-A bridle in his mouth.
4-
Made to go back to where he came from.

There are times of
spiritual ‘blindness’ when we get caught up with so many things in God’s House
that we forget that it is the House of the Lord and we should respect and treat
it as such. Some of the things we do and say inside His House may grieve Him
and surely we need to repent of those things and follow His Way.
