‘What A Wife.’
Proverbs 31:10-31.
a) Proverbs 31:10. She
has a noble character and is very
valuable as a person.
b) Proverbs 31:11. Her
husband has full confidence in her and lacks nothing because of her.
c)
Proverbs 31:12. She brings her husband good
and not harm all the days of her life.
d) Proverbs 31:13 & 27.
She works for her home with eager hands.
e)
Proverbs 31:14. She shops excellently for
household provision.
f)
Proverbs 31:15. She works hard in her home for
her family.
g) Proverbs 31:16-19 &
24. She has a practical business mind.
h) Proverbs 31:20. She is
merciful towards the needy people.
i)
Proverbs 31:21. She provides winter wear for
her family.
j)
Proverbs 31:22. She cares about the private
place – the bed room.
k) Proverbs 31:23. Her
husband becomes, or is, a respected spiritual Leader.
l)
Proverbs 31:25. Because of her strength and
dignity she has no worries about the future.
m) Proverbs 31:26. She
speaks with Wisdom and gives faithful instruction.
n) Proverbs 31:28-29. Her
children and husband affirm her.
o)
Proverbs 31:30. She Fears the Lord.
p) Proverbs 31:31. She honoured and praised by other people,
especially Spiritual Leaders.

‘He Is Lord.’
a) Exodus 3:14. He is the I
Am.
b) Isaiah 45:5-6. He is the
Lord, there is none other.
c)
Malachi 1:11. His Name is Great among the
Nations.
d) Malachi 1:14. His is a
Great King Whose Name is to be Feared.
e)
Psalm 104:31-35. He is Worthy of our Praise.

Lord)

The Godly wife works hard in her home for her
family. I love to see husbands and fathers in True Believers’ families helping their
wives in the home if those wives are busy, that should be lovingly normal
family life. If, however, there is a role reversal in the home where the wife
is often out doing ministry and the husband is left at home to look after
everything and everyone, this is unbiblical and bound to put some stress and
difficulty into family life eventually.
