Psalm 103:13. As a father shows compassion to
his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those people who Fear Him.

Psalm 145:14. The Lord upholds all those
people who are falling and He raises up all those people who are bowed down.

Psalm 147:3. The Lord heals the broken hearted
people and binds up their wounds.
d)
Romans 8:28. We know that for those people who
love God all things work together for good, for those people who are called
according to His Purpose.

As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows
compassion to those people who fear Him. In the Bible days the fathers amongst
God’s People were generally good fathers, they had a “fatherhood manual” in the
Word of God. There were probably very few dysfunctional families in those days.
This means that the natural father’s compassion there was a living picture of
the Lord’s Compassion.
