‘Follow Christ’s Example.’

there needs to be:-

though Christ was and is the Son of God He did not count that equality with
Christ was a thing to be grasped.

now exalted Him and given Him the Name above every name.

the Name of Jesus, every knee shall and will bow.
(This Second one encourages me to Follow Christ’s
Example, and not push or exalt myself)
Chris.
Jesus Christ made Himself nothing. He was and is and will be
always something. He is God the Son, the Son of God and part of the Triune God.
Jesus Christ made Himself nothing for us, to identify with us. We need to take
this ultimate example of humility and apply it to ourselves. We are nothing and
we should not try in pride to make something of ourselves. We should humbly use
our gifts and talents for the Glory of God.
