Government And Church.’
Romans 13:1-4.
a)
Romans 13:1. With Wisdom we need to place
ourselves under and obey the Government of the Nation where we live.
b)
Romans 13:1. God is the One Who put the
Government there.
c)
Romans 13:1. All Governments have been placed
in power by God.
d)
Romans 13:2. Those people who are refusing to
obey the Laws of the land are refusing to obey God and expose themselves to the
risk of punishment by the Government.

Romans 13:3. Government does not frighten the
people who do correctly but it does frighten the people who do wrong.
f)
Romans 13:3. Do what the Government says and
we will get along well.
g)
Romans 13:4. Government is sent by God to help
us.
h)
Romans 13:4. If we are doing something wrong
we should be afraid that we will be punished.
i)
Romans 13:4. The Government is established to
govern the Nation and to punish wrongdoers and people who perpetrate crime.

We should seek God’s Will in everything we do. God has a Plan
and Purpose for all of our lives and it is very important that we follow His
Will. Of course the Will of God never contradicts the Law of God or the Law of
the Nation where we may live. Especially if we are serving God overseas we need
to Pray for Wisdom in living in the overseas Nation. There is absolutely no reason
why we cannot live as True Believers in the vast majority of Nations in the
World. If we are involved in Mission then we need Wisdom from God to stay
within the laws of that Nation. Live and serve – an important principle!
