‘Practical Giving Of The
Church.’
1 Corinthians 16:2.
a)
Please notice that this is not practical
giving in the Church, it is of the Church. Giving to outside.
b)
It should be prepared for weekly, having some
kind of priority in the Church.
c)
It can be participated in by every working
person in the Church who is debt free.
d)
It alleviates the necessity of making hurried
collections and offerings.
(Through
this QT I understand that there is a way for the Practical Giving Of The
Church)
‘The
Incredible Generosity Of The Macedonian Church.’
2
Corinthians 8:3.
a)
They gave, as a Church, as much as they were
able.
b)
They gave even beyond their ability, this does
not mean getting into debt.
c)
They did this entirely on their own. There was
no outside pressure.
(Through this Second one I can see
The Incredible Generosity Of The Macedonian Church)
Chris.
Many Churches today are, or want to be generous, surely that is
a work of Grace in the Church. To be most effective, this kind of giving needs
generally to be planned, unless there are some very urgent needs to be met.
When giving is planned properly and overseen well it usually gives a great
sense of Joy to those people who give.
