The
person who gives to the poor people shall not lack. The Bible enjoins the
Church to consider and to help the poor people. Every Nation has its poor.
Where we live, in Aberdeen, Scotland, there is the environment of a wealthy and
affluent oil and gas city. Yet we can see much poverty around, poor people on
the main shopping streets every day. There are also poor people’s housing
areas. May Churches not forget these poor people.
