Titus
2:1-8.

Titus 2:1. Titus was to Teach the Believers
what was sound and healthy doctrine.

Titus 2:2. Older men in the Church were to

minded.

Dignified.

Self
controlled.
4-
Sound
and healthy in Faith.

Sound
and healthy in Love.

Sound
and healthy in Steadfastness.

Titus 2:3-4. Older women in the Church were to
be:-

Reverent
in behaviour.
2-
Not
slanderers.
3-
Not
slaves to much wine.

Teachers
of what is good to train the young women in the Church.

Titus 2:4-5. Young women in the Church were to
be:-

Loving
their husbands and children.

Pure.

Self
controlled.

Working
at home.

Kind.

Submissive
to their own husbands, so that the Word of God would not be reviled.

soundly in ways that cannot be condemned so that opponents may be put to shame,
having nothing evil to say about them or the Church.

Young women in the Church were to be pure in Titus’ day. The
same applies in our day too. The problem of many Churches is that young men and
women in the Church are not taught enough and well about the practical things
of life. If the older women were well trained to teach the younger women there
would be less tragedies regarding immorality in the Churches.
