The Comforter In The Old Testament!


The Comforter In The Old Testament.’
Isaiah 40:1-2.
a)      God said that His People were to be comforted.
b)     They need to be told and comforted because their time of hard service was finished.
c)      Their sins had already been paid for, Jerusalem had received twice the payment of punishment for their sins.
(Through this QT I discover the Comforter In The Old Testament)

‘We Need To Live And Walk In The Light.’
1 John 1:7.
a)      If we live and walk in the Light.
b)     God is in that light.
c)      We can share fellowship with one another.
d)     And the Blood of Jesus Christ, God’s Son, cleanses us from all sin.
(I am reminded through this Second one that I Need To Live And Walk In The Light)

Some people go through very hard times and very few, or even no, people know about it. This is quite difficult and sometimes severe, suffering. These people need to be helped and rehabilitated in a good caring environment. God knows and He makes a way out for them.
