‘Be Confident In Knowing Jesus Christ.’
1 John 2:3-4.
a) We can be sure that we know the Lord if we
obey His Teaching.
b) Anyone who says that they know Him, but does
not obey His Teaching, is a liar.
c) There is no Truth in that person.
(This QT exhorts me to Be Confident In Knowing Jesus Christ)
‘Keep Our Eyes On Jesus.’
Hebrews 12:2.
a)
We are to keep our eyes
fixed on Jesus, looking to Him.
b)
He is the Pioneer of our
Faith and makes it perfect.
c)
For the Joy set out
before Him He endured the Cross.
d)
He disregarded the shame
of the Cross.
e)
He has taken His seat at
the right hand of the Throne of God.
(This Second one reminds
me to Keep My Eyes On Jesus)

We do need to keep our
eyes on Jesus. Not for any reason that is threatening us or sinister but simply
because He is the Pioneer of our Faith. The way that we can keep our eyes on
Jesus is best found by reading God’s Word. When we keep our eyes on Jesus
surely we are helped and our Faith grows.
