Luke 24:27.
a)
Jesus began His Teaching with what Moses said
about Him.
b)
Jesus then turned to all the Prophets and what
they said about Him.
c)
Then Jesus began to explain all the things
that had been written about Himself in the Scriptures.

‘Do Something About It.’
Romans 8:13.
a) We should not
use our lives to live after the flesh and do wrong things.
b)
These are sinful things that lead us to
spiritual death.
c) If we, with the Holy Spirit’s help stop
doing and put to death the wrong things.
d)
We will have True Life.

Jesus very frequently turned to the
Scriptures during His Earthly Ministry. He used those Scriptures to convince
His hearers. His Bible Teaching was never complicated or boring. He made His
Teaching so that all the listeners could understand and also be convicted of
the Truth. We do well to take note of Jesus’ Teaching – both its method and its
application.
