He Will Cleanse Us!


‘He Will Cleanse Us.’
1 John 1:9.
a)      If we confess our sins to God.
b)     He will forgive our sins.
c)      Because we can trust God to do what is correct.
d)     He will cleanse us from all the wrongs that we have done.
(Through this QT I thank God because He Will Cleanse Me)

‘Biblical Standard Of Eldership.’
1 Timothy 3:1-7.
a)      1 Timothy 3:1. To desire to be an Elder is a noble desire.
b)     1 Timothy 3:2-4. Essentials for an Elder:-
1-    He must not give people a reason to criticise him.
2-    He must have only one wife. (Eldership is male)
3-    He must be self-controlled.
4-    He must be wise.
5-    He must be respected by other people.
6-    He must be ready to welcome guests.
7-    He must be able to Teach.
8-    He must not drink too much wine.
9-    He must not like to fight.
10-                                       He must be gentle and peaceable.
11-                                       He must not love money.
12-                                       He must be a good family Leader.
13-                                       He must have children who co-operate with him with full respect.
c)      1 Timothy 3:5. If someone does not know how to look after his family, how can he look after the Church?
d)     1 Timothy 3:6. An Elder must not be a new Believer.
e)      1 Timothy 3:7. An Elder must be respected by people both inside and outside the Church.
(This Second one Teaches me The Biblical Standard Of Eldership)

If a Church Elder has Children then those Children must co-operate with him with full respect. Elders are responsible for caring about every aspect of the Church and its life. If the Elder’s Children are growing up in the wrong way or are not being well cared for by their father, how can he look after Church matters if he is failing in family matters?
