A Biblical Challenge!


A Biblical Challenge.’
1 Corinthians 14:13.
a)       If a person in the Church speaks with the Gift of another tongue (language).
b)      This person should Pray.
c)       Ask God for the meaning (interpretation) of the tongue Gift.
(This QT presents me with A Biblical Challenge)

2 Corinthians 1:3.
a)   Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
b)      He is the Father of Mercies.
c)   He is the God of all Comfort.

There is clear space in the New Testament for Spiritual Gifts to be manifest in the Church. I can see no reason why we should not have those Gifts manifested in these days. What is so important is our understanding about these Gifts and in exercising them. I am sure that they are for the entire Body of Christ, rather than certain ‘types’ of Churches. If understanding of these Gifts is taught Biblically then there needs be no conflict. This is why Apostle Paul wrote about Love being the motive for the Ministry of Spiritual Gifts.
