Woe To You!
‘Woe To You.’
Matthew 23:13-15.
This passage shows us very clearly that a sad fate would come to the legalistic and hypocritical Jewish Teachers of the Law. The same principle applies today to any “servants of the Lord” who are legalistic and hypocritical.
a) Matthew 23:13. They shut the door of the Kingdom of Heaven in people’s faces. (Offending them so that they cannot receive God’s Gift of Eternal Life)
b) Matthew 23:13. They themselves do not have Eternal Life.
c) Matthew 23:14. They travel over land and sea to make disciples of hell.
d) Matthew 23:15. They are concerned more about money than the Worship of the Lord.
(This QT strongly shows me that God loves everyone is a religious fallacy. He speaks Woe To You over the lives of legalistic and hypocritical people who claim to be His “servants”)

‘When We Have Been With Jesus’
Acts 4:13.
a) We will have courage.
b) If we have an inferior education other people will not despise us.
c) Even though we are ordinary people people will realise that we have been with Jesus.
(This Second one teaches me what happens When We Have Been With Jesus)

Chris.
The Church is still exposed in these days and this generation to legalistic and hypocritical “teachers”. Rather than just criticise and gossip about these people the Church needs to see them as Jesus does. Forbid them because they are messengers of death and not of life.
