The Fear Of People!

‘The Fear Of People.’
Galatians 2:11-13.
a) Galatians 2:11. Can cause us to be in conflict with true Servants of the Lord.
b) Galatians 2:11. Can cause us to be clearly wrong in our decisions.
c) Galatians 2:12. Can make us double minded.
d) Galatians 2:12. Causes double minded decisions.

‘The Word Of The Cross.’
1 Corinthians 1:18-29.
a) 1 Corinthians 1:18. Is foolishness to those people who are on the way to destruction.
b) 1 Corinthians 1:18. To us who are on the Way to Salvation it is the Power of God.
c) 1 Corinthians 1:19. God will put an end to the wisdom of secularly minded “wise” and “discerning” people.
d) 1 Corinthians 1:20. God makes foolish the Wisdom of this World system.
e) 1 Corinthians 1:21. In God’s Wisdom the World system with all its wisdom cannot have the knowledge of God and that through the seeming foolishness of preaching God gives Salvation to those people who have Faith in Him.
f) 1 Corinthians 1:22-23. The Message to be preached is Christ Crucified.
g) 1 Corinthians 1:24. To the people that are called by God, Christ is the Power of God and Christ is the Wisdom of God.
h) 1 Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
i) 1 Corinthians 1:26-28. God has called through the Word of the Cross:-
1- Not many wise people.
2- Not many mighty people.
3- Not many noble people.
4- Foolish people.
5- Weak people.
6- Base people.
7- Despised people.
8- People that are nothing in the eyes of the World.
j) 1 Corinthians 1:29. So that no flesh should glory before God.
(This Second one shows me the Power of The Word Of The Cross)

Chris.
Sometimes people like to be seen by other people as being “strong”. This is actually great human weakness. This is flesh only and has no part in true Christianity or in a True Believer’s life. Our dependence is upon God and not upon flesh.
