‘Whether Absent Or Present.’
a) 1 Corinthians 5:3. Apostle Paul was able to make good judgment.
b) 2 Corinthians 10:1. Apostle Paul was able to appeal to the Church with the kindness and gentleness the Christ would use.
c) 2 Corinthians 10:11. Apostle Paul could be just as demanding and forceful.
d) 2 Corinthians 13:2. Apostle Paul warns the people who have been sinning.
e) 2 Corinthians 13:10. Apostle Paul wanted to use the Authority that the Lord had given to him to build up the Church and not to pull the Church down.
f) Philippians 1:27. Apostle Paul encouraged the Church to stand side by side and fight together for the Good News.
g) Colossians 2:5. Apostle Paul could take note that the Believers were living as they should with strong faith in Christ.
(This QT shows me that effective ministry can take place by a Minister Whether Absent Or Present as long as the Church had Biblical resident Elders)

‘When The Lord Chooses Someone.’
1 Samuel 16:7.
a) He does not consider their height.
b) He does not consider how handsome they are.
c) When God rejects someone – that is it – they are rejected.
d) He does not see as people see.
e) He does not look at their outward appearance.
f) He looks at a person’s heart.
(This Second one teaches me what is taken into consideration When The Lord Chooses Someone)

God given Authority is supposed to be a very positive thing. If a Minister who is called by God is trusted by God with this God given Authority then he will use it to build up the Church. The purpose of this Authority is not to pull people down.
