We Have One Father!

‘We Have One Father.’
Hebrews 2:11-12.
a)             For the One Who sanctifies.
b)            And those people who are Sanctified.
c)             All have one Father.
d)            That is why Jesus is not ashamed to call those people who are Sanctified Brothers.
e)             Psalm 22:22. Jesus says that He would proclaim the Father’s Name to His Brothers.
f)               Jesus says that He would sing hymns to the Father in the congregation.
(This QT reminds me that Jesus together with every True Believer has something in common: We Have One Father)
-------------
‘Amazing Promise.’
Genesis 18:10.
a)             The Lord spoke to Abraham.
b)            He said that He would certainly return to Abraham in one year’s time.
c)             At that time Sarah would have a son.
d)            Sarah was listening at the door of the tent behind Abraham.
(This Second one shows to me an Amazing Promise of God)
-------------
Chris.
Jesus said that He would sing hymns to the Father in the congregation. It is obvious here that just like David the Son of David, the Son of God Jesus Christ also loved to sing Praises to God. Singing hymns and praise songs to and about the Lord is a very excellent thing to do.

Come Back To The Lord!

‘Come Back To The Lord.’
Song Of Solomon 6:13.
a)             This was the time for the Bride to come back to her groom.
b)            It is now the time for the Church to come back to Christ.
c)             Job 22:26. It will be a time of Joy in the Presence of the Lord.
d)            The Word ‘return’ is used more than once. This shows the deep Love of Christ for His Church.
(Through this QT I echo with Solomon the call to the Church to Come Back To The Lord)
-------------
‘God Answers And Hears Our Prayers.’
Isaiah 65:24.
a)             Even before they call.
b)            I will answer.
c)             While they are still speaking.
d)            1 will hear.
(This Second one assures me that God Answers And Hears My Prayers)
-------------
Chris.
Church is very special because it is not the organisation of human beings it is the Creation of God. Church is not a mere organisation, Church is a living organism. Church belongs to God and not to us. As the Church we are called to live for the Glory of God. Let us remember what the Church is meant to be from God’s perspective.

Amazing Authority!

‘Amazing Authority.’
Matthew 10:1.
a)            Jesus called His twelve Disciples together.
b)            He gave them Authority over unclean spirits.
c)             They were to cast out and drive out unclean spirits.
d)            They were to bring healing from:-
1-           Disease.
2-           Sickness.
3-           Infirmities.
(This QT reveals to me the Amazing Authority that Jesus gave to the twelve Disciples)
------------
‘We Belong To God.’
a)            1 Corinthians 3:17. We are God’s Sanctuary.
b)            1 Corinthians 6:19. Our body is the Temple of the Holy Spirit.
c)             Ephesians 1:4. We are chosen in Christ from the foundation of the World.
(I fully understand from this Second one that I Belong To God)
------------
Chris.
The Lord Jesus gave His Disciples authority over Disease. This authority is being manifested today through individual True Believers, the Church and the Believing medical professionals. Many diseases that in the past were deemed incurable can now be cured. Gifts of healings are also at times manifested in gatherings of True Believers where people are miraculously healed of diseases.

Entirely Appropriate!

‘Entirely Appropriate.’
Hebrews 2:10.
a)            In bringing many sons (and daughters) to Glory.
b)            It was entirely appropriate that God.
c)             Should make the Source of their Salvation.
d)            Perfect through sufferings.
e)             All things exist for God and through God.
(This QT reminds me that all things God does are Entirely Appropriate)
-----------
‘A Holy Sanctuary In The Lord.’
Ephesians 2:21.
a)            The whole living building of the Church.
b)            Is being put together by God.
c)             It is growing.
d)            Into a Holy Sanctuary in the Lord.
(Through this QT I am so Blessed to be a part of A Holy Sanctuary In The Lord)
-----------
Chris.
The Source of our Salvation was made Perfect through sufferings. This perfection is not implying imperfection prior to sufferings, rather it is pointing to the fulfilment of all the Biblical Prophecies about His Sufferings. Thank God for what Jesus Christ our Lord suffered for us in order that we might be Saved.

Garden In Spring Time!

‘Garden In Spring Time.’
Song Of Solomon 6:11-12.
a)            The nuts speak of the end or winter. Spring has now arrived.
b)            Acts 1:13; 2:1-4. The Blossoming and Birth of the New Testament Church.
c)             Luke 24:27. The new dispensation as taught by Jesus was to begin.
d)            The sprouting of the plants takes place.
e)             John 3:8. Here was a new experience for the Bride.
f)               Ephesians 2:6. The New Life in Christ now manifested. Fallen in Adam, now Redeemed in Christ.
(This QT brings me to the beginning of the History of the New Testament Church: Garden In Spring Time)
----------
‘The House Of God Needs To Be Built Well.’
Matthew 7:27.
a)            So it does not collapse.
b)            So it does not fall.
c)             It must be built well so that it will stand when:-
1-           The rains fall.
2-           The rivers rise.
3-           The winds blow.
4-           The winds beat on the house.
(This Second one reminds me that The House Of God Needs To Be Built Well)
----------
Chris.
The rivers rise. That is always a dangerous situation wherever we may be. Last year I was in a town that had been recently dominated by a rising river. Much of the town was flooded and many people suffered because of the flood. I just finished reading a book about mission that speaks about ministry in the interior of a certain country. It was very remote, jungles, small villages, mountains and isolation. When the rivers rose it was almost impossible for people to get from one village to the next.

Not Everyone!

‘Not Everyone.’
Matthew 7:21-23.
a)           Matthew 7:21.  Jesus said that not everyone who calls Him Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
b)            Matthew 7:21. Only the person who does the Will of the Heavenly Father will enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
c)             Matthew 7:22. On that day many people will say in Your Name didn’t we:-
1-           Prophesy?
2-           Drive out demons?
3-           Do many miracles?
d)            Matthew 7:23. Jesus will announce to them that He never knew them. He told that that they were Law breakers and that they must depart from Him.
(This QT reminds me that Not Everyone who calls Jesus by the Name Lord will enter the Kingdom of Heaven)
---------
‘Life As A True Believer.’
Matthew 5:10-16.
a)             Matthew 5:10-11. May mean we are persecuted.
b)            Matthew 5:12. Means that we are to be glad and Rejoice when we are persecuted because our reward in Heaven will be great. (This reminds me to pray for persecuted people, whether Nationally or domestically)
c)             Matthew 5:13. We are the salt of the Earth and we should keep our savour, otherwise we are useless in the Kingdom of God.
d)            Matthew 5:14-15. We are the light of the World and we should let our light shine.
e)             Matthew 5:16. Our light shines as we do good works and Glorify our Father in Heaven.
(Through this Second one I find something of Life As A True Believer)
---------
Chris.
We are the salt of the Earth and we should keep our savour and saltiness. When salt loses its saltiness it becomes useless. We keep our savour and saltiness through our personal spiritual life. We pray, we read our Bible, we Fellowship with other True Believers. We are the salt of the Earth, let us not forget that fact.

We Do See Jesus!

‘We Do See Jesus.’
Hebrews 2:6-9.
a)            Hebrews 2:6; Psalm 8:5-7. The Scripture testifies: What is man (how poor a creature is man) that You remember him, or the son of man that You care for him and come to him?
b)            Hebrews 2:7. You made him lower than the Angels for a short time.
c)             Hebrews 2:7. You crown him with Glory and Honour.
d)            Hebrews 2:8. You subjected everything under his feet.
e)             Hebrews 2:8. In subjecting everything to him, He left nothing that is not subject to him.
f)                Hebrews 2:8. As it is we do not yet see everything subjected to him.
g)            Hebrews 2:9. But we do see Jesus:-
1-           Made lower than the Angels for a short time.
2-           By God’s Grace tasting death for everyone.
3-           Crowned with Glory and Honour because of His suffering and death.
(I am so thankful for this QT: We Do See Jesus)
--------
‘Blessed People.’
Matthew 5:3-9.
a)            Matthew 5:3. The people who are poor in spirit for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.
b)            Matthew 5:4. The people who mourn for they shall be comforted.
c)             Matthew 5:5. The people who are gentle for they will inherit the Earth.
d)            Matthew 5:6. The people who hunger and thirst for Righteousness for they will be filled.
e)             Matthew 5:7. The people who are merciful for they will be shown Mercy.
f)                Matthew 5:8. The people who are pure in heart for they will see God.
g)            Matthew 5:9. The people who are peacemakers for they will be called sons and daughters of God.
(In this Second one I find the Blessed People)
--------
Chris.
The people who hunger and thirst for Righteousness shall be filled. This surely should be the desire of every True Believer – Righteousness. We live in a World where, often in the World system, success is more important than Righteousness. This is really a deception because God is the One Who gives success to humankind.

Unusual Miracles!
