When God Says I Will He Will!

‘When God Says I Will He Will.’
Isaiah 38:6.
a)    I will deliver you.
b)   I will deliver this city from the King of Assyria.
c)   I will defend this city.
(This QT assures me that When God Says I Will He Will)
---------------
‘The Holy Spirit Gift Of Faith.’
a)    1 Corinthians 12:9. Is one of many Gifts from the Holy Spirit.
b)   1 Corinthians 13:2. Is nothing if we do not have active love in our lives.
c)   2 Corinthians 4:13. Comes together with:-
1-   Hearing.
2-   Speaking.
3-   Doing.

(This Second one helps me to understand more of The Holy Spirit Gift Of Faith)
---------------
Chris.
When God gives the Word that He Will defend a city it is a sure fact that He Will. I think that the same principle is in action today as it was in the days of the Old Testament and in the days of the New Testament. It is important that True Believers in the City should be Praying for the city. It is because of those times of Prayer that we can eventually see God defending the City.

'When The Children Ask.'

‘When The Children Ask.’
Exodus 12:26-27.
a)     When the children ask the parents.
b)     What does this religious custom mean to you?
c)     Answer them that it is a Passover Sacrifice to the Lord.
d)     The Lord passed over the houses of the Israelites in Egypt when He struck Egypt.
e)     God spared the homes of the Children of Israel.
f)     After hearing this the people:-
1- Bowed low.
2-Knelt down.
3- Worshipped.
(Through this QT I see the need to respond well When The Children Ask)
--------------
‘We Are Saved.’
Ephesians 2:8.
a)     By Grace we are Saved.
b)     Through Faith.
c)     It is not from ourselves.
d)     It is the Gift of God.

(This Second one encourages me because I Am Saved)
--------------
Chris.
When the People of God heard about the Passover feast meaning one of their responses was to kneel down before the Lord. In some of the Nations where I have been it is quite normal in a Worship Service for the Worshippers to kneel down. I see it as a real sign of humility before and honour of, the Lord.

Keep Free!

‘Keep Free.’
2 Peter 2:20-22.
a)     2 Peter 2:20. These people escape the defilements and pollutions of the World system through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. They:-
1- Get entangled again.
2-Are overcome.
3- Have a latter end that is worse than the beginning.
b)     2 Peter 2:21. It would be better for them not to have known the Way of Righteousness, than having known it and then turning away from the Holy Commandment that was handed down to them.
c)     2 Peter 2:22. It has happened to them according to the true Proverb: That a dog returns to its own vomit and the sow, having been washed, returns to the mire.
(This QT is a good reminder to me to Keep Free)
-------------
‘Unbelief Is Sometimes From God.’
John 12:39-40.
a) There was a reason that they could not believe.
b)     Isaiah the Prophet explains the reason.
c)     God had blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts.
d)     So that they could not:-
1-    See with their eyes.
2-    Understand with their heart.
3-    Be converted.
4-    Be healed.

(Through this Second one I understand that Unbelief Is Sometimes From God)
------------
Chris.
In the World system they have a saying: ‘seeing is believing’. This is actually an anti-faith saying. If we are well sighted people then we surely have much to thank God for with our good eye sight. Faith does not come from seeing though, it comes from receiving the Words of God.

The Healing Of King Hezekiah!

'The Healing  of King Hezekiah
Isaiah 38:1-5.
a)     Isaiah 38:1. King The Hezekiah became sick unto death.
b)     Isaiah 38:1. Isaiah came to King Hezekiah and told him:-
1-    Thus says the Lord.
2-    Set your house in order.
3-    You will die.
4-    You will not live.
c)    Isaiah 38:2. Hezekiah put his face towards the wall and prayed.
d)     Isaiah 38:3. Hezekiah’s Prayer:-
1-    Remember now Oh Lord I beseech you.
2-    I have walked before You in Truth.
3-    I have walked before You with a Whole Heart.
4-    I have done what is good in Your Sight.
5-    He ended his Prayer with bitter weeping.
e)     Isaiah 38:4. The Word of the Lord came to Isaiah again.
f)     Isaiah 38:5. Isaiah was to tell Hezekiah: Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David:-
1-I have heard your Prayer.
2-I have seen your tears.
3-I will add fifteen years to your life.
(In this QT I learn from The Healing Of King Hezekiah)
---------
‘Christ Did It For Us On The Cross.’
1 Peter 2:24.
a)     He Himself bore our sins in His Own Body on the Cross.
b)     So we can die to sin and live to Righteousness.
c)     By His Wounds we are Healed.

(This Second one shows me Christ Did It For Me On The Cross)
---------
Chris.
By the Wounds of Jesus we are healed. I do Believe that Healing is available for us at the Cross. It is the same Principle as forgiveness of our sins. Healing and Salvation are not our choice; they are totally dependent on Grace.  By Grace we are Saved and I believe also the same process for all that comes to us from the Cross. It is all because of Grace. We depend on God.

Potentially, We All Can Be Changed!

‘Potentially, We All Can Be Changed.’
2 Corinthians 3:18.
a)       We all, with unveiled face.
b)       Beholding as in a mirror the Glory of the Lord.
c)       We are being transformed into the same Image.
d)       From Glory to Glory.
e)       Even as by the Spirit of the Lord.
(This QT encourages me: Potentially, I Can Be Changed)
----------
‘Faith Comes.’
Romans 10:17.
a)       Faith comes.
b)       From and by hearing.
c)       Hearing by the Word of God and Christ.

(This Second one reveals to me how Faith Comes)
----------
Chris.
The workings of the Spirit of the Lord in our lives are of the utmost importance. We need these workings so that we can become more Christ-like in nature. God will never force His Way into us. We always need to respond to Him. As we do this we can experience an abundance of Grace.

Do Not Be Overcome!

‘Do Not Be Overcome.’
2 Peter 2:19.
a)       There are some ‘false servants of the Lord.’
b)       They promise people freedom.
c)       They themselves are slaves of corruption.
d)       Romans 6:16. By what a person is overcome.
e)       By that they are enslaved.
(This QT is a warning to all of us: Do Not Be Overcome)
---------
‘Faith Is Active.’
Mark 11:23.
a) Jesus said:-
b)Whoever says to this mountain.
c)   Be taken up and cast into the sea.
d) And does not doubt in their heart.
e)  They Believe what Jesus says is going to happen.
f)   It will be granted to them.

(Through this Second one I am convinced that Faith Is Active)
---------
Chris.
Faith is always active. Faith that is passive is not Faith at all. This kind of active Faith both Believes and Does what the Word of God tells should be done. I sometimes am challenged when I think about my own Faith, that I should have more. Let us respond to the Love and Instruction of God with active Faith.

The End Of King Sennacherib!

‘The End Of King Sennacherib.’
Isaiah 37:38.
a)       It came about as he was worshipping Nisroch, his god.
b)       His own sons, Adrammelech and Sharezer killed him with the sword.
c)       They then escaped to Ararat.
d)       Another son, Esarhaddon, became king in his place.
(This QT shows me The End Of King Sennacherib)
--------
‘Wisdom And Compassion Of Jesus Christ.’
Luke 6:7-10.
a)       Luke 6:7. The Scribes and Pharisees were watching Jesus on the Sabbath in the Temple to see if he would heal anyone, then they could accuse Him.
b)       Luke 6:8. Jesus knew exactly what these religious people were thinking.
c)       Luke 6:8. Jesus called the man with a withered hand to get up and stand by Him.
d)       Luke 6:9. Jesus asked the religious people if it was lawful or evil to do good on the Sabbath day. Should life be saved or destroyed?
e)       Luke 6:10. Jesus:-
1-      Looked around at everybody.
2-      Told the man to stretch out his withered hand.
3-      He did so.
4-      His hand was restored. (Jesus never touched him at all, just spoke the Word to Him)

(This Second one teaches me about The Wisdom And Compassion Of Jesus Christ)
--------
Chris.
Jesus looked around at everybody most of them were already watching Him. They all knew well the Jewish Law and that it was sin to work on the Sabbath. Jesus did no work at all, He simply spoke a healing Word to the man with a withered hand and the man was healed. What Wisdom and Compassion.

Unusual Miracles!

'Unusual Miracles' Acts 19:11-12. a)  And God was doing  b)  Extraordinary miracles c)  By the hands of Paul, d)  So that even han...
