The
Lord surely wants the Church to be ready for Himself. I see this in two ways.
Firstly, as the Church gathers together in His Name for the different worship
activities and meetings we need to be ready in holiness and expectancy of what
He wants to do and to say amongst us. Secondly, we need to be ready for the
Second Coming of the Lord when this age and dispensation draws to a close.
