Apostle Paul's Appeal To Philemon!

‘Apostle Paul’s Appeal To Philemon.’
Philemon 1:8-10.
a)       Philemon 1:8. Apostle Paul was bold and he could have used a powerful letter to Philemon but he did not.
b)       Philemon 1:9. Apostle Paul:-
1-      Had love as his motive.
2-      Was already an old man.
3-      Was in prison.
c)       Philemon 1:10. He appealed to Philemon on behalf of Onesimus who had been caring for him during his imprisonment and had become like a son to him.

‘Enter By The Narrow Gate.’
Matthew 7:13-14.
a)       We should always enter by the narrow gate.
b)       The gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction.
c)       Many people enter that wide gate.
d)       The gate is narrow and the Way is hard that leads to Life.
e)       The people who find the narrow gate and go through it are few.

Apostle Paul appealed to Philemon on behalf of Onesimus. This is a very good lesson and a positive one for us to learn. So often we hear people talking negatively about other people, especially behind their backs. Here Apostle Paul is writing so positively to Philemon. This is surely how True Believers should be talking and writing.
