'The Ministry of the Spirit of Truth.'
John 16:13.
a) He is the Holy Spirit that comes. (It
is quite permitted to sing or pray: "Holy Spirit, come")
b) He Will Guide us into ALL the Truth.
(The Holy Spirit never deceives people or leads them into deception. If people
go wrong, it is either because of their selfish pride, or they are being
influenced by a wrong spirit)
c) He will not speak on His Own
Initiative. (The Holy Spirit is never proud or selfish)
d) He will only speak what He hears from
Heaven. (This is a great lesson for preachers, if the Holy Spirit Himself only
speaks what He Hears, how much more should fallible we follow the same example. We can do it if we are filled with the Holy Spirit)
e) He Will Disclose to us what is to come.
(Here is the Personal Ministry of the Spirit of Truth - it is very lovely)

The Spirit Of Truth)

'Spiritual Life.'
a) Hosea 6:2. Is living before God.
b) Colossians 2:13. Is given to us by God.
c) Romans 8:6 & 10; John 6:57. Comes
from Christ and the Holy Spirit in us.
d) 2 Corinthians 3:6. Is the Product of
the Holy Spirit.
e) 1 Peter 4:6. Is continued in the next
life.
f) Proverbs 19:23. Can be obtained if we
have the Fear of the Lord.
g) Romans 6:11. Is something we are to
think about and act upon.
h) Galatians 5:25. Is living in and
following the Holy Spirit.
i) 1 John 3:14. Is evidenced by True
Believers' Love for each other. This is so clear to me.... If there is no love
for each other in a Christian family or in a Christian church, then there is no
Spiritual Life in that family or church.
j) Ephesians 2:5. Is Given by Grace.
(Through this Meditation, I want to
continually experience Spiritual Life)

Chris.
The Spirit of God is a very lovely Spirit.
He gives us so many Blessings. Peace, joy, happiness, sanctification, inner
strength, spiritual gifts and much, much more. We should never take His
Presence for granted. We need to welcome the Holy Spirit in our personal lives
as well as in our churches. Things like long worship services and speaking in
tongues do not necessarily mean that the Holy Spirit is with us or in us. How
can we test if the Holy Spirit is with us Biblically? i) Are we positive? ii)
Are we thankful and grateful? iii) Are we able to listen to other people? iv)
Do we really love each other? These are the evidence of a Holy Spirit-filled
life. If we do not find these things in our lives or families, then we need to
come to God and ask Him to fill us with the Holy Spirit. If we do not find
these things in our churches, then our churches need the Mercy of God. REMEMBER
- Christ does not love THE church, in our terminology - He loves HIS Church. We
need to make sure that our church is His Church. The Spirit of God is a very
lovely Spirit; let us yield to Him.
