The Church Needs To Stay Pure!


‘The Church Needs To Stay Pure.’
1 Corinthians 5:6-7.
a) If the Church is not clean it should not boast about its spirituality.
b) The Church should not let impure things go on within it.
c) If one person is sinning the entire Church is affected.
d) Wicked unrepentant people need to be removed from the Church so that the Church can remain pure.
e) The Church needs to remember the Sacrifice of Christ is more important than its programmes.

‘Refrain From A Judgmental Attitude.’
Matthew 7:1-5.
a) Matthew 7:1. We are to stop judging other people then we will not be judged.
b) Matthew 7:2. Other people will treat us as we treat them.
c) Matthew 7:2. Whatever measure we use in judging other people, the same measure will be used against us.
d) Matthew 7:4. How can you think of saying, `Let me help you get rid of that speck in your eye,' when you can't see past the log in your own eye?
e) Matthew 7:5. We should not be hypocrites, rather, deal with our own life first before trying to correct other people.

Church programmes are important. Especially in larger Churches, for the Church to meet the needs of many people there needs to be carefully planned programmes. It is important however for the Cross and its theme to be presented as more important that the programmes and the Cross to be lived out in the lives of those people planning the programmes as well as the attendees.
