'The Two Olive Trees And Lampstands.'
Revelation 11:4-5.
a) These Olive Trees and Lampstands.
b) Stand before the Lord God of the Earth.
c) Psalm 52:8. These Olive Trees trust in the Steadfast Love of God.
d) Anyone who tries to harm them will be defeated and killed.
e) Doomed to be killed by fire.

'God's Initiative.'
Numbers 11:17.
a) Moses, as Leader of God's People was so tired.
b) God came down to talk with Moses.
c) God took the Holy Spirit that was on Moses.
d) God put that Holy Spirit anointing also upon the Elders of His People.
e) The Elders were to share the burdens of the People with Moses.
f) Then Moses did not have to bear it alone.
(This Second one reveals God's Initiative)

The punishments that were, are, and will be carried out by God are very final. This is so clear throughout the Scriptures. One of the main reasons for Jesus coming was to take the punishment for our sins. We are called daily to follow Jesus, and that following is continued even in Heaven.
