The Spirit Of The Lord Upon Jesus!


'The Spirit Of The Lord Upon Jesus.'
Isaiah 61:1.
a)  Isaiah 11:2. The Spirit of the Lord was upon Jesus.
b)  He was Anointed with God's Anointing.
c)  Matthew 11:5. To bring Good News to the poor people.
d)  To heal the hearts of broken hearted people.
e)  To proclaim freedom for the captives.
f)  To release from darkness people who are bound.
(This QT teaches me about The Spirit Of The Lord Upon Jesus)

'It Is Hard To Be Alone.'
Ecclesiastes 4:10.
a)  If someone falls down.
b)  Their colleague can lift them, or help them, to get up.
c)  But it is hard.
d)  When someone falls down.
e)  And there is no one to help them up.
(This Second one reminds me that It Is Hard To Be Alone)

Proclaiming freedom for the captives is a very important part of the Gospel. The Bible teaches us that Truth proclaimed brings freedom. We should not fall into the idea of "setting people free" using "spiritual gimmicks" in a futile attempt in our way to set captives free. The Proclamation of Truth is so meaningful and helpful in the Christian Ministry.
