‘The Prophets’ Work.’
1 Peter 1:10.
a) Luke 24:27 & 44. Their work was concerning
this Salvation.
b) They Prophesied about the outpouring of Grace
that would come to us.
c) They searched and carefully investigated.
d) They inquired of the Lord about this Salvation
– which we enjoy today.

‘The Message Declared.’
1 John 1:5.
a) This is the Message that John and the other
Apostles heard from the Lord.
b) It is the Message that they also declare.
c) Psalm 27:1; John 12:46. God is Light.
d) In Him there is no darkness at all.

reveals to me The Message Declared)

The Prophets of the Old
Testament knew that their Work was concerning this Salvation. As we read the
Prophets and compare their Writings with the New Testament we can surely see
the fulfilment of their work and some yet to be fully fulfilled. The modern day
Prophet or Forth-teller must surely seek the Words of God before he stands to
bring God’s Message in the pulpit.
