‘Plus And Plus.’
2 Peter 1:5-7.
a) 2 Peter 1:5. “Beside
this” Peter writes of the tremendous Blessings mentioned at the beginning of
the Chapter.
b) 2 Peter 1:5.
There are certain things that we are to give all diligence and effort about.
c) 2 Peter 1:5-7.
These things are:-
1- To our Faith add Virtue. (Moral excellence)
2- To our virtue add knowledge.
3- To our knowledge add temperance.
4- To our temperance add patience. (Perseverance)
5- To our patience add Godliness.
6- To our Godliness add brotherly kindness.
7- To our brotherly kindness add love.
(This QT teaches me plus and plus)

Matthew 12:5.
a) This is written
in the Scripture for our consideration.
b) Numbers 28:9. On
the Sabbath Day the Priests in the Temple profaned the Day.
c) Yet these Priests
were blameless.

To our Moral Excellence we should
add Knowledge. It is very clear that if we place Knowledge before Moral
Excellence in our lives that we will not be living the kind of life that the
Lord wants us to live. The purest Knowledge will flow from the person who is
Morally Excellent.
