Isaiah 29:22-24.

Isaiah 29:22. This is
what the Lord our Redeemer says! Jacob will no longer be ashamed and his face
no longer pale.

Isaiah 29:23. When Jacob
sees his children, the Work of the Lord’s Hands. Jacob’s Nation will honour the
Name of the Lord, the God of Jacob.

Isaiah 29:24. The people
who are confused will gain understanding and those people who grumble will
accept instruction.

For many years there has
been a popular Christian Chorus going around the Churches. “Lift Jesus Higher”.

This song is not a good
song to sing. It is incorrect.

Jesus said that if He is
lifted up from the Earth He will draw all people to Himself.

Here is the meaning of
Jesus’ Words.

He was talking about His
Death on the Cross. When we sing this song we are like those soldiers who
crucified Jesus.

The people who grumble will
accept instruction. When we are grumbling it is very difficult for us to
receive anything from the Lord. He is not pleased with grumblers. Usually
grumbling people are also not able to receive Teaching. When grumbling is
repented of and stopped, then the people who grumble will accept instruction,
especially of God’s Word.
