1 Peter 1:14.
a) We are to live as obedient Children of God.
b) We are not to conform ourselves with former
desires.
c) We did them before in our ignorance.

‘Pretenders.’
Isaiah 58:2.
a)
They seek the Lord daily and try to Worship
Him – but it is all pretence.
b)
They pretend that they want to learn God’s
Ways.
c)
They pretend to be a Nation that lives
Righteously.
d)
They pretend not to have forsaken the Commands
of God.
e)
They ask God to Judge them fairly.
f)
They ask God to give them the Reward of
Righteous People.
g)
They pretend that they want God to be near
them and they to Him.

Pretenders
are extremely difficult to deal with. The first thing that the Real Servant of
the Lord needs when dealing with pretenders is Discernment. The Gift of the
Holy Spirit – Discernings of spirits. The second thing needed is self-control
so that the person(s) can be spoken to in a reasonable tone. Thirdly the Real
Servant of the Lord need to Pray for the pure members of the Church community, that
they will not be affected and infected by the pretenders.
