‘Yes Be
Yes And No Be No.’
James
5:12.
a) This is deemed as very important by James. It
is “above all”.
b) We should not swear:-
1- By
Heaven.
2- By
Earth.
3- By any
other oath.
c) Our yes must be yes and our no must be no.
d) Then we will not fall:-
1- Under
judgment.
2- Under
condemnation.
3- Into
hypocrisy.

Zechariah
1:3.
a) The Man of God is to say to the people.
b) This is what the Lord of Hosts says.
c) Return to Me says the Lord.
d) And I will return to you says the Lord.
(This
second one is A Simple Declaration From The Lord)

Why do
we True Believers sometimes put ourselves under Judgment by God when there is
absolutely no reason to be in that situation if we followed God’s Way and God’s
Will? This Scripture simply reminds us to keep our yes as yes and our no as no.
Then we will avoid Judgment.
