Hired Hands!

‘Hired Hands.’

John 10:12-13.

a)   A hired hand is not a shepherd.

b)   A hired hand does not own the sheep.

c)    A hired hand sees a wolf coming, abandons the sheep and quickly runs away.

d)   The wolf drags the sheep away and scatters the flock.

e)   A hired hand is concerned about what he is going to get paid.

f)    A hired hand is not concerned about the sheep.

‘They Cannot Please God.’

Romans 8:8.

a)   Those people who are under the control of the corrupt nature.

b)   Those people who are in the flesh instead of being in the Holy Spirit.

c)    They cannot please God.

(Through this Second one I know that They Cannot Please God)

A hired hand is not concerned about the sheep. A hired hand never wants to take any responsibility for the sheep and only gives blame to them. A hired hand will never protect the sheep adequately and usually has the “it’s not my fault” attitude.
