‘Arrogant Leaders Humbled By The Lord.’
Isaiah 28:14-17.
a) Isaiah 28:14. The arrogant Leaders ruled in
Jerusalem over God’s People. They needed to hear what God was saying to them.
b) Isaiah 28:15. The arrogant Leaders boasted
that they had made a treaty with death and reached an agreement with the world
of the dead.
c) Isaiah 28:15. The arrogant Leaders were
certain that disaster would spare them when it came. They depended on lies and
deceit to keep them safe.
d) Isaiah 28:16. The Lord responded to this by
saying that He was placing in Zion a foundation that is firm and strong. He was
going to put a solid cornerstone on which were written the words: Faith that is
firm is also patient.
e) Isaiah 28:17. Justice was to be the measuring
line for the foundation and honesty will be the plumb-line.
f) Isaiah 28:17. Hailstorms were to sweep away
all the lies that the arrogant Leaders depended on and floods were to destroy
their security.

the Disciples.
c) He Prayed for us, the Body of Christ, to be
truly in Him.
d) He Prayed that through the Unity, the people
of the World system would believe that the Father Sent The Son.
(Through
this Second one I learn a little bit of what God wants me to do because I Want
Other People To Believe)
------------------
Chris.
Jesus
Christ, during His time on the Earth prayed frequently to the Father. Some of
those Prayers are specified in their content, others we just simply are told
the He Prayed. One important Prayer of His was and still is for the Unity of
Believers, at family level, at small group level, in Seminary, in the Local
Church, in the Area Church, on the Mission Field and in the Global Church.
