‘Shepherds Be Shepherds.’
Acts 20:28-31.
a)
Acts
20:28. Shepherds are to:-
1-
Take heed to themselves.
2-
Keep watch over the flock which the Holy
Spirit has placed in their care.
3-
Shepherd the Church of God which He made
His Own by the Blood of His Son.
b)
Acts
20:29. Shepherds should be aware of the fierce wolves who come into the flock
and do not spare them but devour them.
c)
Acts
20:30. There will be attempts to split the Church:-
1-
This will be caused by Church people.
2-
They will tell lies and speak perverted
things.
3-
They will try to split the Church and lead
some Believers away with them.
d)
Acts
20:31. Shepherds must Watch and remember the Teachings of the Word of God that
came to them from Prayerful Instructors.
(This QT reminds me that I must
respect and pray for Shepherds; Shepherds Be Shepherds)
‘Pride Is Not Correct.’
1 Corinthians 5:6.
a)
It
is not correct to be proud.
b)
We
need to remember the counsel of God’s Word.
c)
A
little bit of yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise.
(This Second one tells me that Pride Is Not Correct)

The
Church belongs to Christ! The Church does not belong to the Pastor and Elders.
The Church is not a co-operative run by all the members. The Church belongs to
Christ. Through God’s Word and the Work of the Holy Spirit, the Church can
actually obey the Will of God and the Leading of the Holy Spirit, not just
simply having their own ‘programme’, but doing the Will of God.
