As True
Believers we should surely have the desire to be living our life as Christ
intends. This should not be a burden to us – it should be a Joy. There are
sometimes experiences we may have in life that hinder or lessen this desire.
Firstly, if we come from a Church that has extreme teachings about the “prosperity
gospel” where everything centres on us rather than on God, this leads to
incorrect belief and focus. Secondly, if we have been hurt by, or in, Church,
this can cause emotional and spiritual scars that hinder us.
