‘Confidence Whilst Suffering.’
2 Timothy 1:12.
a) Apostle Paul was in a suffering situation
simply because he was ministering in the Will of God.
b) He was not ashamed of what he was going
through or of being a Gospel Minister.
c) He knew Who he had Believed.
d) He was convinced.
e) That God was able to guard what Apostle Paul
had entrusted to Him until the last day.
(This QT gives me a good example of Confidence Whilst Suffering)

‘Living As Children Of God.’
Philippians 2:12-16.
a) Philippians 2:12. We should know that we are
loved by God and our Spiritual Leaders.
b) Philippians 2:12. We should always obey the
Lord. (Love not fear motivates obedience)
c) Philippians 2:12. We are to work out our
Salvation with fear and trembling.
d) Philippians 2:13. We need to acknowledge that
God is at work in us.
e) Philippians 2:13. He is Willing and Working
for His Good Pleasure in us. (If it is for His Good it will also be for our
good)
f) Philippians 2:14. We are to do all things
without grumbling and disputing.
g) Philippians 2:15. In the midst of a crooked
and perverse generation we need to prove ourselves as:-
1- Blameless.
2- Innocent.
3- Harmless.
4- Simple.
5- Children of God
above reproach.
6- Lights in the World
system.
h) Philippians 2:16. We are to hold fast to the
Words of Life.
i) Philippians 2:16. Then our Leaders will be
able to Glory in the Day of Christ, knowing that they have not run or served in
vain.
(This Second one reminds me that I should be Living As A Child
Of God)

We do live in the
midst of a crooked and perverse generation. This is not a particular problem
but it is a Worldwide one. Corruption, sin, robbery is generally increasing in
the World system. There are few countries left that are “safe”. Even people
move from one Nation to another not looking for study or work, but rather
looking to steal and commit crime. We need to Pray and Preach the Gospel. The
urgent need is still here with us. Mission for many of us is right on our
doorstep.
