‘Living Wisely.’
Ecclesiastes 7:10-12.
a) Ecclesiastes 7:10. We
should never ask why were things so much better in the old days. It is not an intelligent
question.
b) Ecclesiastes 7:11.
Everyone who lives ought to be wise.
c) Ecclesiastes 7:11. Being
wise is as good as receiving an inheritance.
d) Ecclesiastes 7:12. Being
wise will give us as much security as money can.
e) Ecclesiastes 7:12. Wisdom
keeps us safe. This is the advantage of knowledge.

We should never look back to the old days and long for their
return. The Bible tells us that it is not an intelligent thing to do. Looking
back to the old days can fill us with unnecessary regret. Looking back to the
old days can lead us into fantasies that are very unhelpful to us. Looking back
to the old days will hinder our Faith.
