‘We Should Not Despise God’s Word.’
Isaiah 30:12-14.
a)
Isaiah 30:12. God said
that His People despised His Word.
b)
Isaiah 30:12. God’s
People relied on:-
1- Violence.
2- Perversity.
3- Cunning.
c)
Isaiah 30:13. Because of
the iniquity of God’s People and their rejection of God’s Word they will be
like a wall with a breach that breaks.
d)
Isaiah 30:14. God’s
People would be broken like a broken potter’s vessel and become useless.
(This QT reminds me that
I Should Not Despise God’s Word)
‘Those People Who Endure
Will Be Blessed.’
James 5:11.
a) We should count these people as Blessed.
b) We have heard of the patient endurance of Job.
c) We have seen Job’s outcome from the Lord.
d) The Lord is Compassionate and Merciful.
(I learn from this Second one that Those People Who Endure Will
Be Blessed)

God knows very well when His People despise His Word. Sometimes
they have a “know it all” attitude when they glibly read the Word of God. They
do not take it into their heart. God’s Word is very wonderful, it is always
fresh and we should esteem it highly.
