‘Do Not
Stumble But Believe.’
1 Peter
2:7-8.
a)
For us who Believe the
Lord is Precious.
b)
For those people who do
not Believe but are disobedient the Stone becomes:-
1-
The Head of the Corner.
2-
A Stone of stumbling.
3-
A Rock of offence.
c)
These people stumble at
the Word.
d)
They are disobedient.
e)
In the Foreknowledge of
God they are appointed to this.
(This QT
exhorts me: Do Not Stumble But Believe)
‘Spiritual
Circumcision.’
Colossians
3:11.
a)
In Christ we are
Circumcised with a Circumcision not made with hands.
b)
This Circumcision is a
putting off of the body the sins of the flesh.
c)
This is the Circumcision
of Christ and should be a part of every True Believer’s life.
(This Second
one gives me understanding of Spiritual Circumcision)
Chris.
People who
stumble at the Word of God inevitably end up as being disobedient as far as God
and His Will are concerned. One of the most Precious Testimonies that a True
Believer can have is that they have obeyed the Lord.
